The Unplanned Retirement

Tara never thought of her retirement plan until an elderly couple paid a visit to her place. They were the prospective buyer of a flat in her housing society. Tara offered them tea and overheard their conversation. They planned to sell their expensive flat in East Delhi and buy one at a lower cost here. They intend to save the remaining amount for their retirement days, when they will have no work and numerous expenditures, such as maintenance charges, daily groceries, and medical expenses. After they had left, Tara found herself struggling with her thoughts about her unplanned retirement.

The Heavenly Honeymoon

After the wedding, Om went to Ladakh on his posting. Pinki remained in the village. He seldom visited home to be with his family. They have two kids. After retirement, he decides to spend the rest of his life with his family. The kids are now adults. The daughter got married. The son got married and went on a honeymoon with his wife, Radha. Pinky is still hesitant to Om. She wanted to go on a honeymoon; she expressed this to her daughter-in-law. Radha booked the tickets.
