Apple loses the trademark iPad in China

Apple has been facing many hurdles on the end of intellectual property rights infringements in China. After fake Apple stores, it’s the term of trademark issue. China court has rejected Apple’s claim to own the iPad trademark. The dispute is between Apple and Proview Technology (Shenzhen), a Taiwanese-owned company. It registered trademarks for the name IPAD in many countries long before Apple conceived the name for its tablet.

Proview Technology registered the name “IPAD” in the EU, China, Mexico, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam between 2000 and 2004, according to trademark databases. In 2006, Proview Electronics (Taiwan) agreed to sell Apple the “global trademark” for the IPAD name for £35,000, but the two companies have subsequently disagreed about whether that deal included China. Apple filed a lawsuit for the trademark in China, but Chinese trademark office rejected the application because the trademarks are owned by Proview Technology (Shenzhen), another affiliate of Proview International, the group is Hong Kong-listed holding company, and not the Taiwan unit.

Can you see the moon anytime in the day? No, the moon appears only after sunset. You are wrong. They appear all the time. We can see it only when it is dark. Yes, mistakes can happen even if you try every attempt to avoid them. Mistakes happen not knowingly. You came to know only when everything went wrong. They are like unwanted guests, who irritate you badly till when they are at your place. But it is not so that you will suffer the consequence throughout your life just due to few mistakes. You can correct them once you realize. Guests do not come to your place to stay forever. They will go later or sooner. But if you provide them the liberty to stay in your home without showing your pain, they will enjoy their stay in your place and not bother to move. So are the mistakes. If you will not try to rectify your mistakes, they will keep pinching you for long time. So, don’t get adjustable with them, weed them out as soon as possible. We are human and not God. So, it is very usual for us to commit mistakes. But repetition of mistakes is not at all good. Those who repeat mistakes are not being, they are either fool, demon, or impractical. ...

Yes, there is nothing as powerful as time; all you need is patience. If darkness has come to your life, definitely you will get the sunshine. Remember, at time you need the darkness to feel the power of light. The following quote is very true...so you should never devalue or hurt anyone...if you are doing so, your 'karma' will change the circumastances and you are bound to suffer the pain harder than you have given to somebody and you will be devalued to the extent that you can never look up...mind it, never, never in your life...
