Youth Power

The youth of any nation and society are its potential energy. They are the powerhouse and storehouse of infinite energy. If this powerhouse of nation is harnessed in appropriate direction, then country can reach untold heights. The quality of youth determines the kind of future nation will have. So, it is rightly said in words of US President F.D. Roosevelt that ‘we can’t build future for our youth, but we can build our youth for future . The future of a nation lies in the hand of posterity. Therefore, if we need to ensure a bright future for our country we first need to strengthen and empower youth. We need to direct the energy of youth in constructive channels. Their creative potential coupled zeal, enthusiasm, energy and versatility can work wonder and lead our nation to the path of development and progress.

Today’s youth is much more media obsessed, tech-savvy, fashion conscious, enterprising than predecessors and their main focus is on global research. They can take our nation from ‘India’ to ‘Globalised India’. Young generation is more conscious about national economy although, there is heavy rush of ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ on everyone’s lips.

This generation lives by the clock and plans by the calendar. So, they are the one who can take the charge of making India more prosperous in future.

The Moon in My Bedroom

Can you see the moon anytime in the day? No, the  moon   appears only after sunset. You are wrong. They appear all the time. We can see it only when it is dark. However, leave that aside; as you can see, the moon is visible both day and night, even in a bedroom. I have moons in my bedroom. My 3-year-old son discovered this. He is an astronomer, lol. There are four round-shaped ceiling lights in my bedroom, the four moons for my son. Yes, his bedroom is his planet. Kids are imaginative. Let them create the world in their imagination. The Heavenly Honeymoon

After the wedding, Om was posted to Ladakh. Pinki remained in the village. He seldom visited home to be with his family. They had two children. After retirement, he decided to spend the rest of his life with his family. By then, the children were adults. Their daughter was married, and their son had also married and gone on his honeymoon with his wife, Radha. Pinki still felt distant from Om. She once expressed her desire to go on a honeymoon to her daughter-in-law. Radha booked the tickets for them. The next morning, they did not wake up. Instead, they embarked on their heavenly honeymoon together. Photo by  cottonbro  from  Pexels
